Design research and exploration

We successfully designed, specified, and developed a custom software platform for A1, one of the leading mobile operators in the region, to power promotional campaigns involving games and raffles through receipt registration. The goal was to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty by offering an interactive and secure way for users to participate in prize draws by uploading proof of purchase.

The project began with an extensive planning and discovery phase, where we worked in close collaboration with A1’s marketing and legal teams to define the campaign mechanics, technical requirements, and compliance standards. We then created a comprehensive technical specification covering front-end user experience, back-end infrastructure, fraud prevention, data protection (GDPR compliance), and campaign reporting.

The resulting platform allows users to easily register receipts through a mobile-optimized interface, after which the data is validated through automated and manual verification flows. The system supports various promotional formats, including instant win games, scheduled raffles, and tiered prize structures. Administrators benefit from a powerful backend panel for monitoring participation, approving entries, drawing winners, and generating detailed reports.

The solution has been successfully deployed for multiple campaigns, helping A1 increase customer engagement, improve campaign transparency, and collect valuable market insights in a secure and efficient manner.
